A Brief History of Blogging
Marc Kevin Hall
The stories of my life fall — as do all such stories — somewhere between fiction and nonfiction. We cannot touch the past; what affects us most is our memories of events, more so than the facts. Still, I sometimes change the names of the guilty (and occasionally innocent) parties, and sometimes I do not. You may wish the taste salt prior to adventuring in this section.
Stories about my life that don’t fall into the other memoir categories.
These are the stories of my family and family history: of my blood relations, seldom involving actual bleeding, fortunately.
Ah, Love! What would we do without your bliss? For that matter, what would we do without your torment? These torrid tales of true romance cover both extremes, with frequent ventures into slapstick along the way.
Talking With Cats

I have heard it said that nothing is duller than someone else’s dream. I disagree; I find a lot of insight into a person’s character in the images their mind conjures up when the filters are off. Of course, that isn’t true of these, the oddly vivid nocturnal wanderings to which I am prone. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
My life is strange enough that my output of self-confessed fiction has diminished greatly. I’m taking some steps to correct this, though. In the interim, here are a few stories I’ve posted in the past (often the very distant past). I provide no guarantees as to their quality.
A collection of fiction, non-fiction, memoir, and reviews all relating to my favorite holiday, Hallowe’en.
A conglomeration of shiny items which have attracted my attention.
