Damn, it was hot today! I do not deal well with heat, and to compound matters it was so blasted humid I actually thought I might pass out at one point. I had to abandon a bookseller’s stall and seek a flat space to sit out of the sun.
I met comics legend Will Eisner, about which there will be more later, and Michael Payne, the extraordinarily pleasant fellow who hosts some show on HGTV. I wandered in and out of vendor booths, ate mediocre falafel, and bought a bunch of books.
New old and old new books
They certainly do cover a wide range: an art book, some signed volumes, comics, a first edition (but not first printing) of The Exorcist…. That should keep me busy for a while.
