I recently bid on and won an exceedingly odd antique postcard on Ebay. It isn’t the kind of thing I would normally buy, but there was just something intriguing about this.

Now given that this card comes from an era in which postcards were used as we would use greeting cards today, I’m trying to imagine the event for which you would need a card inscribed “Thou shalt do no murder.” Would this be the 1909 equivalent of an “I’m sorry!” card?
