Readers, I am flattered by your kind response to “Climbing to the Moon.” Losing Legionnaire was difficult for me (and for my dear, dear friend Laura, who was his long-distance surrogate mother). That his story touched so many of you — I’ve had more visitors this week than in a normal month — means a lot to me. For this story to have been selected as SFDB Post of the Week is the proverbial icing.

If you enjoyed Climbing, you may enjoy its predecessors in the series: Sweat, Grey Wisdom, and Walkers. If you do, please let me know. For that matter, poke around the other entries under Writing and Dreams. I’ve been here for nearly a decade; there may just be something else to entertain you.
And if you have a few dollars to spare, please consider making a donation to the animal charity of your choice. I’ve worked with Hurricane Pets Rescue and The Cat Network, but whatever organization you prefer, your help will be appreciated.
Thank you again for visiting.

This picture is so sweet. Did you see my email about the cat that adopted me?
