Notorious

Internet filtering services are funny, funny things. For years I have harbored a certain amount of jealousy toward my friend Heather, as in my workplace access to her site is blocked for being in “category: adult,” while Hidden City was completely unrestricted. It just doesn’t seem fair — I am much more obscene than she is!

Today an old friend e-mailed me this screenshot, indicating that at his company I have been recategorized.

So this is what the big time feels like! Thanks for the heads-up, Matt!

I imagine this is the result of guilt by association: too many pornographers in my links list.

It could be your title, which does sound a little suggestive… A less risque option might be “Kitten City”. Or you could go the other direction, and maybe try “On-going Beetle Orgy.”

Holy Crap! What changed? I just got a similar message at The Big A today. First time ever! No explanation of how or why it was filtered out, either.
