Get well, man. Hope you feel better.

What? Is the Nyquil a chaser?

And where’s the chicken soup?

NicFitKid July 21, 2006 at 3:01 pm

Who needs chicken soup when you’ve got rum?

Insensible July 21, 2006 at 3:12 pm

Who needs any of that, when you’ve got rum?

gansibele July 21, 2006 at 3:23 pm

Good rum too, none of that Bacardi crap.
Feel better.

Yarrgh! The pirate’s cure. All you need is an eyepatch and a parrot! :-)

Get well soon!

Thanks, folks. I am feeling a bit better today, having slept for a good chunk of the daylight hours. When I did rouse from my drug-fueled slumber I was quickly lulled back to sleep by the pounding rain.

The rum is a chaser for the Nyquil which — while effective — tastes nasty. (Don’t try this at home, kids! Leave ti to the professionals!)

And I congratulate you, Gansibele, on your good taste in rum. This is a middle-tier bottle for me, since I don’t want to waste something top shelf when I’m sick.

I think it’s time to put the second season of Carnivale in the DVD player and fire up another Nyquil daquiri. That ought to bring interesting dreams.

Hmm, Google’s translator still leaves something to be desired:

Flower De Caña,
Today Takes It,
Tomorrow Zero Rubber

^^^Lol… Goma in Nicaraguan parlance is “hangover”.
